May bank holiday bin collections
There will be no change to your bin collection day over the May bank holiday as bin collections are now Tuesday to Friday. From week commencing 15 April 2013 we now collect your green bin (household) one week and your blue bin (recycling) the next week. This is because the council has to save £100m over 3 years following cuts from government grants and rising cost pressures.
There will be no change to your bin collection day following the bank holiday weekend. Please make sure you put your bin out on your normal collection day. For more information on the changes and to find out your bin collection dates visit the weekly alternating bin collection page.
